When I first received this lamp, I popped it in (as I first reviewed it) and it fucntioned as advertised. Two months later I can barely see the picture. I contacted River Valley Electronics, the seller, and they say the guarantee DOES NOT COVER BRIGHTNESS. What a CROCK! Unless the lamp does NOT function at all, I am out of luck. Two months of TV for $109. I contacted Amazon, and they filed an A-Z Claim. SAME ANSWER...Unless the item does NOT function, I am out of luck.

DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP. OR ANYTHING FROM RIVER VALLEY.

Once I was able to determine what type of replacement lamp I needed for my Sony big screen TV, I immediately went to Amazon.com to locate it. Amazon had the lamp in stock and at a good price as well. Although I have since ordered other items from them, this was actually the first time placing an order. Just the fact that they did exactly what they said they would is what keeps me coming back as a consumer. Everything went right by the book...I placed my order, they gave me an arrival date, and the item was delivered to my door on that specific day. In addition, I was able to install the lamp myself in less than two minutes and was back watching movies immediately afterwards. I was very happy with the service at Amazon and will continue to use them in the future.
