The gate was easy to assemble with a few tools and seems very sturdy. It fits well into our larger opening and the gate is easy enough for my older boys to open and close while keeping my littlest one safe. It opens both directions which is nice and it looks classier than some of the other gates. I am very happy with my purchase.

I would recommend this gate to everyone that has a large space to seperate. It is not only very high, easy to install & sturdy but looks beautiful! We just re-did our step down den and wanted an animal free enviorment. Not only are my dogs blocked but my FAT cat will not jump it (its to tall)to scratch up my new couch LOL =D ......
I can't even tell you how many compliments we have recieved.
